As a Financial Reporting Booking Analyst, you will work under the direction of the Manager of Financial Reporting and partner with sales, accounting, and finance teams to support global sales operations. This position will exercise a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement, and attention to detail. Responsibilities
What we want you to do:
• Manage monthly reporting of bookings.
• Assist sales operations in determining contract structure to optimize key reporting metrics.
• Review monthly won deals to ensure reporting and data accuracy in Salesforce.
• Support the sales commission calculation process, including assisting with the calculation and payout of sales commissions.
• Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures related to assigned areas.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting.
• Manage compliance with our internal control process for related to assigned area, including identifying areas for improvement and assisting in the design and documentation of new controls or modification of existing controls.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years’ work experience, preferably in the technology sector.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA designation, or CPA eligible candidate
• A solid understanding of the concepts of internal control design and operational effectiveness.
• Proficient in Salesforce
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Superior organizational, process management and communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced time-management skills to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth and rapidly changing environment. We’re looking for an individual who can learn complex processes quickly and take on new tasks including leading projects, while also managing recurring functions.
• Great problem solving and analytical skill to analyze information, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
• Must maintain the highest level of ethical standards.
