We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the overall financial management of the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established accounting principles and regulations.
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance.
Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring compliance with the latest requirements.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is strongly preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
