Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor and control cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the ERP system.
• Implement and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
• Support inventory and cost accounting processes in coordination with relevant departments.
• Train junior staff on ERP usage and ensure best practices are followed across departments.
• Continuously evaluate and improve ERP system workflows and controls.
• Assist in automating manual processes and optimizing reporting capabilities.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, with hands-on ERP system exposure.
• Proficiency in ERP platforms (e.g., Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS), and financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) will be an added advantage.
• Experience in ERP migration or system implementation projects is desirable.
