Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations, with a proficiency in Tally ERP. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing strategic insights to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee accounting records using Tally ERP.
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Travel weekly to Dongerpur (2 days a week) for on-site financial management and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and accounting software.
- In-depth understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and ITR processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel weekly to Dongarpur; all travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
