Job Description
An international company has a vacancy for a Sr. Accountant. Most of company's business is in specific Industries providing procurement services to large corporations. Job Summary and Purpose: Reporting to the Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for general accounting and administrative support by performing tasks related to processing orders, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting. This highly motivated individual will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. Be able to work well in a team and be individually independent. The person will have effective time management skills, analytical and problem solving skills. Specific Responsibilities
• Processing Customer Orders and Purchase Orders for Suppliers
• Posting Accounts Payable invoices, preparing and making payments
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Processing Accounts Receivable invoicing and performs a weekly review of past due AR.
• Followup and ensure timely receipt of payments.
• Other business transactions, including disbursements, expenses vouchers, credit card statements and receipts.
Qualifications/Experience
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and work to deadlines.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Web Browser.
• A minimum of three (5) year of recent accounting experience.
• A minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and to perform with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Other Requirements
• Work Timings - Canadian ET (8.30AM to 5.30PM).
• Have computer and high speed internet.
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: INR25,000.00 - INR40,000.00 per month Schedule:
• Night shift
