Job Title: Accountant
Location: Andheri,Chakala
Experience: 2 years
Salary: 15 to 18kk CTC (Depens upon interview performance)
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Accountant with 5 years of experience in the garment industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of accounting and taxation related to the garment industry.
Responsibilities:
l Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
l Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation and records.
l Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
l Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
l Liaise with the company's auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
l Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, TDS, income tax, and GST returns.
l Monitor and manage cash flows, prepare cash forecasts, and ensure proper cash management policies and procedures are in place.
l Maintain and update the company's accounting systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations.
l Prepare and maintain schedules for audits and tax assessments and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
l Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
l Develop and implement accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
l Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare forecasts and budgets, and provide regular updates to management.
l Prepare and submit financial reports to senior management and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
Requirements:
l Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation in the garment industry.
l In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as tax laws and regulations.
l Proficient in using accounting software such as Tally.( Must)
l Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field.
l Master degree in accounting will be preffered.

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
