Position Summary
GTS IT Costing team is responsible for Portfolio Billing through Accruals Vs Invoicing and Invoice management for the Project Managers. Address queries related to Accruals/Actuals/Invoicing.
Job Responsibilities
Basic Function
• Compiling data from source files and creating 1) reports in Excel (and sometimes presenting them in a pivot table or PDF format), and 2) consolidate files
• Information updates in various tools (will be trained on the tools in house)
• Ability to precisely coordinate, track and maintain large amounts of data from various initiatives.
Analytical decision making including but not limited to match invoices to accruals.
Essential Functions
• Review, Monitor, Analyze, Approve and Follow up with Project Managers on invoices
• Follow ups with Program/ Project Managers on deliverables
• Should be able to reconcile invoices (actual vs accrued) and bill accordingly
Compiling data from source files and creating Reports on Excel and presenting them in a pivot table or PDF format. These reports are created for high level management to view results and performance levels of various financial related activities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
• Graduates with at least 15 years of education with Accounting as a subject. Should be proficient in MS Project, Excel & Access
Experience
• Minimum 1 Year of work experience in generating, compiling and presenting reports in a related field
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
• Proven Computer navigation skills (Mandatory).
• Proven keyboarding speed (Mandatory)
• Proven working knowledge of MS Office suite(Mandatory)
• Excellent Access and Excel skills and proficient in working on Pivots & Macros. (Mandatory)
• Excellent MS Project skills. (Mandatory)
• Knowledge of Clarity a plus, but will train in-house
• Knowledge about US Culture
• Knowledge of Reporting fundamentals
• Excellent Project Management Skills with understanding of different phases in a Project
