Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic IT Service Company. The Accountant will be responsible for handling the complete accounts of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, expense reports, and payroll records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization.
Auditing: Coordinate and assist in the annual external audit process. Provide necessary documentation and support to auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.
Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Regularly review and update accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar industry or IT service company.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with cloud-based accounting software is a plus.
