Job description
Responsibilities

• Understand how the ICI product works and how it is used by customers.
• Work closely with the customers (Global Customer Base) to answer questions about features and capabilities of our product, Interact with customers on/off-site to work on new product enhancements and configuration changes, implement new changes by using functional skills on customer environments.
• Provide consultation on product features, review customer implementation and enhance the customer system for a better user experience.
• Develop knowledgebase articles/training materials for both customer and internal staff to help them to become self-sufficient.
• Provide technical & functional expertise, guidance, mentorship to team members.
• Follow and contribute to defined CRM processes to manage customer requests efficiently.
• Role may involve travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• 8 + years previous experience in an Application Support/Functional Consultant role.
• Should have completed one full/partial implementation cycle on functional requirement from discovery to delivery of the requirement.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• Exposure to Windows Azure and Cloud Computing will be an added advantage.
• Deep understanding of customer support processes and tools. Ability to follow defined processes.
• The ability to coordinate, follow up, follow through and drive issues to closure proactively.
• The ability to be a good listener, and to understand customer requirements. Ability to provide innovative workarounds or design a solution to fix customers requirements.

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Endpoint Engineer to drive our endpoint management and vulnerability management initiatives across Windows, macOS, and Linux clients. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise in Jamf Pro (for macOS) and Microsoft SCCM (for Windows) to ensure our global workforce enjoys a world-class, secure, and thoughtful user experience on every endpoint. You will be responsible for deploying and managing device configurations, software updates, and security policies, all while keeping user productivity and cross-platform consistency in mind.

As part of our IT team – and in line with CrowdStrike’s One Team, One Fight ethos – you’ll collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and support teams to build a unified and secure endpoint environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about security and user support, combining a relentless focus on protecting devices and data with a commitment to providing an excellent, user-centric experience. This role demands technical excellence, innovation, and a team-first attitude to uphold CrowdStrike’s high standards in both security and service.

What You’ll Do:
• Manage cross-platform endpoints: Administer and maintain endpoint management systems, including Jamf Pro for macOS and Microsoft SCCM for Windows, to deploy software, enforce configurations, and ensure all devices (including Linux endpoints) are secure and up-to-date.
• Lead vulnerability management: Drive vulnerability and patch management efforts for all client endpoints – perform regular OS and application updates, coordinate security patches, and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner to protect against threats.
• Ensure security & compliance: Implement and enforce endpoint security policies (encryption, antivirus/EDR, firewalls, etc.) and compliance standards across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, aligning with CrowdStrike’s high security benchmarks while minimizing impact on user experience.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Cybersecurity, IT Operations, and Support teams (embracing our One Team, One Fight culture) to design and deploy endpoint solutions and respond swiftly to emerging threats or incidents on user devices.
• Provide thoughtful user support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on user endpoints (Windows/Mac/Linux) with a focus on customer service and empathy. You will strive to deliver quick resolutions and proactive communication, ensuring users have a positive support experience.
• Automate and innovate: Develop scripts and automated workflows (using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to streamline device provisioning, software distribution, configuration changes, and system health monitoring across all platforms.
• Monitor and optimize: Continuously monitor endpoint performance, security alerts, and compliance dashboards. Proactively address any anomalies or trends, and optimize configurations to improve reliability, performance, and security of client systems.

Document and educate: Create and maintain documentation for endpoint management processes, standards, and best practices. Train and guide end-users and internal teams on new features, security requirements, and tips to ensure they get the most out of their devices securely.

What You’ll Need:
• Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems or endpoint management, with a focus on desktop/client administration and security.
• Jamf and SCCM Expertise: Proven expertise in Jamf Pro and Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Ability to create and manage device profiles, policies, software packaging, patch schedules, and troubleshoot these platforms effectively.
• Multi-OS Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems – including system configuration, networking basics, OS imaging, and enterprise security best practices for each. You should be comfortable supporting and securing endpoints in all three environments.
• Vulnerability Management Know-how: Experience with endpoint vulnerability assessment and remediation – for example, using scanning tools to identify weaknesses, deploying patches and updates, and verifying compliance with security standards.
• Scripting & Automation Skills: Solid ability to script or automate routine tasks in an endpoint environment (e.g. PowerShell for Windows, Bash/Python for Mac/Linux). Experience with automation can help drive efficiency and consistency across large fleets of devices.
• Security Mindset: A strong security-first mindset with familiarity in endpoint security solutions (such as EDR/antivirus software, disk encryption, identity and access management on endpoints). You understand how to balance stringent security with a good user experience.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues on diverse endpoint systems in a timely manner.
• Communication & Teamwork: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. You embody the One Team, One Fight mentality – working well with others to achieve shared goals.
• User-Focused Attitude: A passion for customer service and improving the end-user experience. You take a thoughtful approach to IT support, understanding employee needs and ensuring technology enables productivity rather than impedes it.
• Passion for providing secure, seamless end-user experience and the ability to proactively balance productivity and risk mitigation.

Bonus Points:
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Jamf Certified Admin, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/SCCM certification, or OS-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Apple ACSP) are a plus.
• Modern Endpoint Management: Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager or other MDM/UEM platforms for managing devices would be beneficial.
• Linux Management: Familiarity with managing Linux endpoints at scale using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management and patching.
• CrowdStrike Falcon or EDR Tools: Experience working with endpoint security/EDR products (especially CrowdStrike Falcon) and integrating them into device management workflows.
• Enterprise Scale: Background in supporting a large enterprise environment with thousands of endpoints across multiple geographies. Experience implementing solutions that scale effectively is a plus.
• Security/IT Certifications: Additional security certifications (e.g. Security+, CISSP) or IT management certifications (ITIL) demonstrating a broad knowledge base.
