Job Description
Sundays was founded in Vancouver in 2019 by four friends with deep roots in furniture and retail. We design West Coast modern pieces: warm, functional, built to last. We sell direct to customers across the US and Canada. Our sister brand Hetta takes a more refined, traditional approach. Different aesthetics, same commitment to quality.
With showrooms in New York, Pasadena, Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary, and average order values that reflect real investment from our customers, the marketing work here carries real weight. We’re growing fast and building the team to match.
Reporting to the VP of eCommerce & Marketing, the Sr. eCommerce Manager owns the end-to-end onsite experience across Sundays and Hetta, translating brand and commercial strategy into a seamless, high-performing digital storefront. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, shaping how customers discover, explore, and purchase our products online.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and optimize the full onsite customer journey, from discovery through checkout, improving navigation, content flow, and page structure
Lead end-to-end merchandising strategy across collections, category pages, and product detail pages for both Sundays and Hetta
Drive site content strategy for product launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments, from concept through execution
Partner with the Creative team to define and deliver a best-in-class eCommerce asset strategy
Build, test, and optimize landing pages to align with paid and organic traffic strategies
Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO), developing hypotheses, executing A/B tests, and implementing improvements that drive performance
Create onsite content that clearly communicates product value, differentiation, and quality
Establish and maintain a performance reporting cadence across key metrics including engagement, conversion rate, and site speed
Leverage analytics and UX tools (e.g., GA4, Microsoft Clarity, event tracking, user testing) to identify friction and inform improvements
Partner with Development and Design to prioritize and launch new site features and functionality
Define and maintain eCommerce best practices across merchandising, content, and workflows, building scalable playbooks
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5–7 years of eCommerce experience, preferably within a high-growth DTC or digitally native brand
Strong working knowledge of Shopify Plus (or equivalent platforms) and the broader app ecosystem
Proven experience in A/B testing, UX principles, and conversion rate optimization
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear and confident communication skills across cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools within eCommerce workflows (e.g., data analysis, site optimization)
Self-starter mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
WHAT WE OFFER:
Comprehensive benefits plan (health, dental, vision)
Generous product discounts across Sundays and Hetta
Free weekly classes at Ride Cycle Club
Kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit
A modern, open office in East Vancouver with views of downtown and the mountains
