Qualification -
B.E. / B. Tech – Electrical
Experience -
5-8 Years of which at least 3-5 years in solar PV
Roles and responsibilities -
1. Responsible for the smooth & efficient working of the engineering & proposal Department.
2. Lead and guide a Design & Engineering for assigned project.
3. Responsible for Timely execution of electrical side design work
4. Responsible for working out quotations and estimates, preparing proposal drawings for the same.
5. Securing Approvals from Consultants / Customers.
6. Co-ordination with Sales/Mktg/BD, Procurement and Project Management teams.
7. Achieving the targets
8. Managing Technical Evaluation if required
+. Evaluating design & implementation of Solar System.
10. Preparation of basic & detailed Engineering documents.
11. Create detailed BOM (Bills of Material) for the complete solar Power Plant & assist Procurement Team in selecting vendors / suppliers.
12. Carry out design of 415 V /11 KV/ 33 KV/ 66 KV/132 KV Sub Station & selection of components.
13. Knowledge of Electrical Safety norms.
14. He must be having expertise in HT components and switchyards. Design experience
15. General layout for the solar plant
Focus Area -
1. Familiarity with present codes & practices for designing Electrical components.
2. Thorough knowledge of Solar System, PV panels, SCADA systems, DC & AC Cabling, loss calculation, Cable sizing, Switch Yard, Transformer
3. Equipment Co-ordination of site, HT & LT side, Transformers (inverter duty and power) etc.
4. Able to generate drawings for Solar, LT and HT system
5. Designing of solar Power Plant / Sub Station / Switch Yard / HT + LT Components, protection system
6. Must be able to generate and read different panel drawings, transformer
7. Good knowledge of Quality aspects
8. Preparation of specification of all electrical component
+. Well versed in PVSyst.
Competencies / Key Skills Required -
1. Good Technical knowledge of Electrical & Electronics components and its applicability.
2. Interpersonal Skills and Team Work.
3. Result Oriented.
4. Proficiency in MS Office is a must. Must have good knowledge of AutoCAD.
5. Very strong technical knowledge on LT and HT Side, Switched Yard and Substation.
6. Open, positive attitude, goal oriented & flexible.
7. Good Communication & Presentation Skills.
8. Interpersonal & Influential Skills.
