Page 1 of 2 JOB DESCRIPTION Position /Designation: Senior Manager/AGM Tier: Operation Management Team Grade: OMT- 1 Department: Sales Name of position holder Reporting to: Reportees: JOB PURPOSE Execute sales, marketing and pricing activity as per targets set and guidelines KEY RESPONSIBILITIES " Ensure to generate more sales lead, new customer on board, attend corporate tender, develop new sales/trade line, sales visit and prepare report and analysis " Achieve Branch Target, Customers visit, customer retention, generate more GP, increase a greater number of direct customers. " Ensure branch o/s under agreed credit period " Negotiate rate with liners, vendors etc. " Develop juniors for next managers, develop team to get more output " Proper communication with colleague, customers and all other vendors " Compile and monitor approved company sales budgets, marketing Plans for different Trade Lanes/ Services " Expansion of the customer spread and new customer creation. " Giving advance information about expected bookings.
" Ensure / Control bookings within weight Allocations on Vessel to Vessel " Improve profitability proper mix of equipment and discharge ports " Keep updated on competition activities and details Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time. KEY RESULT AREAS 1. Collection of dues on time from the customers 2. Self-monitoring bookings vis a vis target 3.

Complying with pricing parameters. 2. Adherence to the documentation and operational norms 3. Check with Logistics daily on equipment availability to suitably release bookings KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Educational Qualification(s): Graduate or post graduate Prior Experience: 10 years Skills & Personal Attributes Knowledge of the Shipping Laws & Trade Practices Good communication, industry knowledge and self - driven approach.
