Candidate Profile
The position is responsible for effectively managing and coordinating organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance and development of employees are managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to business strategic imperatives.
The position will be responsible for hiring, developing and retaining the right talent to ensure business continuity and growth through necessary talent management strategies like performance management, high potential identification and development, career growth and succession planning and leadership development programs.
Ultimately, the role ensures that we always have a talent pipeline in place that aligns with our current and future business strategy.
The prospective incumbent in the role is expected to bring 10 to 14 years of experience with at least 8+ years in Talent Management / Organization Design.
The incumbent is expected to know about issues impacting industry, good understanding of science and art of managing critical talent, practical know how of structuring organizations and mapping the right talent to every critical or leadership role.
Job Responsibilities
• Developing an optimum and reliable recruitment strategy using various assessment tools / methods and selection criteria, to hire a diverse pool of Post-Graduates, Graduates, and interns from premium institutes across the country.
• Developing and conducting efficient and cost-effective induction programs to ensure clarity on company Core Values, Business, Products and exposure to various functions and their deliverables.
• Identify current and future leadership capabilities and functional skill sets required in various companies across the group and develop measures of capability assessment to create company- and function-wide skill maps and develop talent in accordance.
• Identify High Potentials under Leadership Development Program (ALDP) and Human Capital program and design development initiatives to ensure readiness for critical positions in the future.
• Identify talent risks and consequently create action plans to mitigate them through various talent management initiatives such as talent mobility and career progression.
• Assess and develop employees on Functional competencies through Career Discovery and Development Framework (CDD) and deploy various assessment tools / methods to measure the success.
• Assess and monitor employee engagement levels through employee engagement surveys and other initiatives to leverage strengths and address critical areas of improvement.
• Manage annual Excellence awards to reward and recognize the exemplary performance by various companies, teams, and individuals.
• Develop employees through various certifications and higher education programs to build domain expertise as well as leadership capabilities within the group.
• Conduct annual talent reviews to identify successors for critical positions at the group level and assess development needs to create customized Individual Development Plans to prepare the identified successors for the desired role based on the assessed readiness level
• Revisit organization structures of companies and functions on a periodic basis to ensure readiness with current and future business goals and also ensure availability of right talent for these unique roles at every point in time
Competencies Required
• Around 10 to 14 years of experience in HR, with a minimum of 8 years in Talent Management / Organization Design.
• Minimum of 2 / 3 years as senior HR member / people manager
• Articulative and good in building long term relation with stakeholders across the business.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and practices
• Experience in project management, proactive problem solving and data analytics.
• Proficient in MS Office
Cost to company (range)
35 to 40 LPA (Fixed +Variable)
Qualification
MBA in HR from an institute of repute (Preferred B.Tech.)
