Job Title: Senior Manager, Sales & Partner Relationship
Role type: Individual contributor

Role Description:
We are hiring a mid-management professional for the position of Senior Manager, Sales & Partner relationship to be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Conduct a high volume of lead generation activities, including outreach via prospecting platforms (e.g., Lusha), calls, emails, LinkedIn, and social media platforms
• Research (a) prospects: to understand their business needs and tailor outreach efforts accordingly; (b) target markets, industries, and potential clients: to identify new business opportunities
• Divide the prospecting time & efforts for each category of prospects (i.e., sales channels) as indicated below:
- Allied OEMs/equipment suppliers (like AQMs (Air Quality Monitors)): 40%,
- Strategic partners like Environmental Consultants & Industrial Hygiene experts: 30%,
- EPCs: 15%,
- End users: 15%
• Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets (set & shared separately), including calls, emails, and meetings covering the target country, industry & customer profile & regularly report on the activities
2. Quota Achievement
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and revenue targets through direct sales and partner account management
• Track sales progress and proactively take steps to close deals by effectively coordinating with internal (marketing, operations, finance) & external (partners, end users, government agencies, etc.) stakeholders
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, ensuring timely and successful deal execution
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize customer value and increase revenue
3. Pipeline Development & Management
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by sourcing and qualifying new prospects
• Manage CRM tools to monitor and document all prospecting activities and interactions for transparency and follow-up
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are properly categorized and tracked through the sales funnel
• Prioritize tasks to focus on high-value leads and opportunities with the greatest likelihood of success
• Regularly review pipeline metrics with the reporting manager and take proactive steps to meet or exceed goals
4. Partner account management
• Primary responsibility: Partners’ monthly sales targets are achieved
• Act with a sense of urgency & set up a key meeting promptly
• Gather and report partner sales activities weekly for review
• Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the partner network
5. Partner & Customer Engagement
• Build relationships with prospects through active listening, empathy, and understanding of their challenges
• Address customer/partner questions and objections with data and clarity, fostering trust and confidence in the solution
• Maintain high customer/partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Lead generation & conversion
• Sales quota – Direct & Partner (new sales, suggestive sales)
• Retention and repeat purchases (churn management)
• Customer satisfaction (CSAT) and advocacy (testimonials, etc.)
Expected professional background, key skills & competencies
• 6+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in hardware/embedded technology
• Expertise in sales strategy development, pipeline management, and forecasting.
• Proven ability in consultative selling and building long-term customer/partner relationships
• Strong proficiency with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and data analysis
• Exceptional communication and persuasion skills.
• Exposure to closing large, complex deals (B2B/B2G), including $1M+ contracts
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Undergraduate from a Tier 1 institute in India/abroad
