What your background should look like:
Design of analog and digital electronic circuits, embedded design (schematics, layout, Sense Element/ASIC selections and configuration, thermal calculations, Design for Manufacturability and Test including ICT test & Calibration specifications, DFMEA) and support production implementation providing critical inputs to Software Development, PFMEA and Control Plan.
Develop mathematical models, algorithms to optimize the calibration to meet the customer accuracy requirements.
Design for EMI/EMC and Testing knowledge
Experience in HW and SW system integration
Experience with Altium Designer tool (schematics, layout, component library, documentation output for manufacturing).
Experience in working with digital protocols like SENT, CAN, PWM, I2C, SPI etc
Perform ASIL-oriented and safety-oriented analysis; requirements decomposition with respect to ASIL tailoring; ASIC/Embedded architecture optimization, hardware safety requirements, software safety requirements; overall product/system validation and verification plans.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Integrated Circuit Design, Physics or equivalent)
7-12 years of technical experience including full lifecycle developments (initial research & development though series launch) with automotive electronics, integrated circuits.
Experience in all aspects of the design, development with electronic circuits, ICs, Mixed Signal ASICs and Miro controllers for Automotive Applications. Must include System Specification, Architectural Design, Analog & Digital Design, Calibration & Algorithms, Functional Verification, Circuit Design & Synthesis, Mixed-Signal Verification, Qualification & Release.

Compensation
Competitive pay commensurate with experience: $XX to $XX per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
