The Prime Video team is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and entrepreneurial Sr. Vendor Manager to help us build an exceptional and authoritative Video destination. Joining the Amazon Prime Video team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Sr. Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing a category within Prime Video India's TVOD Business.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce, a high level of flexibility, and commitment. The successful Sr. Vendor Manager must be able to:
Manage relationships with a portfolio of international and local film and TV studios and distributors.
Research and monitor industry, customer and competitor trends, input to strategic plans to close competitive gaps and drive market segment growth.
Plan, develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
Analyze vendor performance and customer behavior to identify and understand risks and opportunities and their root-causes, and propose solutions to address them.
Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
