Job Description
Our busy bookkeeping and income tax company has been in business for 25 years and we are looking for a full time STAFF ACCOUNTANT to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping of multiple client entities
Preparation of Tax returns - HST, T1 and T2
Calculation payroll taxes (ETD, EHT (Employer Health Tax), WSIB
Recognize relevant financial statement issues from basic analysis.
Proficient with dealing with CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) directly on tax issues
Requirements:
Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
CPA designation or in the CPA program
3 + years bookkeeping skills
2+ years in personal tax and corporation tax
Proficient in QuickBooks, Work, Excel, and Outlook (desktop and online)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
