Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA – On-site
Job Type: Part-Time/Flexible (25-35 hours/week)

What You’ll Do:
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in helping our team deliver accurate, timely tax services. You will take on a client list and be their first point of contact for all things tax and accounting. You will be responsible for managing their experience at our firm and for ensuring their account remains up to date and in adherence with local, state, and federal tax laws. Your tasks will include:
· Taking ownership over the full accounting cycle for your business clients (including, but not limited to: bookkeeping, financials, tax preparation, business privilege tax, and sales tax)
· Preparing and/or reviewing individual and small business tax returns
· Assisting with related tax documents, follow-ups, and finalization tasks
· Collaborating with other staff members to meet filing deadlines
· Contributing wherever needed to ensure returns are completed accurately and on time
What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking someone who can hit the ground running—flexible, detail-oriented, and ready to support a fast-paced office in the midst of and outside of tax season. The ideal candidate will bring:
· At least 3 years of hands-on tax preparation experience
· A valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
· A good sense of humor – we believe in staying positive, even in April!
