We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with general accounting functions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within the finance team.
Responsibilities:
General Ledger Accounting:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Financial Reporting:
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
