CPA or CMA certification is an advantage

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic finance team
Your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, auditing, and forecasting will be instrumental in driving our company's financial health and profitability
In this position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, from financial statement preparation to budget analysis and financial reporting
You will work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across the organization
Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Conduct detailed budget analysis and provide financial forecasts for the organization
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
Work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting functions and operations
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
Prepare documentation for external auditors
