This position reports to the Finance Manager of Cost Accounting and Operations Analysis and will provide technical accounting, and financial reporting support
Provide support for annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and cost analysis for the leadership team of a manufacturing company
Develop key performance metrics and variance reporting to identify major opportunities for improving operations across multiple divisions
Lead policies for standard cost accounting and annual cost rollups
Coordinate inventory counts at various warehouse facilities
Perform analysis and reporting to assist production, supply chain, and logistics departments
Own capital budgeting process, tracking capital expenditures, and post-investment analysis
Help upgrade financial systems to streamline reporting, improve analysis tools, and provide better data to stakeholders
Support monthly financial close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, and data uploads into reporting software
Assist with general ledger maintenance
Lead special projects to improve business processes and analytical capabilities
