Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the preparation and maintenance of our financial records
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Prepare comprehensive financial statements and related reports to communicate financial information to the management
Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring that all entries are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Provide audit assistance by preparing necessary schedules and reports, and responding to auditor inquiries
Prepare and post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
