ProcessDriven - Should follow process and invest sufficient timein documentation of the process with focus on attention to detail.
Monthly Bookclosure -Handle US GAAP Legal entity closings related toDirect tax accounts for all the legal entities handled fromBangalore. Responsible for fairly reflecting current and deferredtax provisions for Low to medium category legal entities.
MonthlyReconciliations - Preparation of income tax / deferredtax reconciliations with Low to Medium complexity related tobalance sheet.
Auditsupport - Statutory audit support including preparationof Income Tax schedules, Local GAAP tax provisions and handle alldirect tax related questions from audit team and coordinate withlegal entity managers for various tax issues.
Reporting -Performs low to medium Return to provision activity to align booksof accounts with tax returns filed and Effective tax ratereconciliations for SOX entities and report the same to corporate.
Management informationsupport - Supports various corporate requests likedeferred tax templates, yearly tax information requests for U.SGAAP , and support information requests for 10k/10Q related todirect tax accounts.
Tax filing - Coordinates with Deloitte andGlobal Tax teams to support tax return of various legal entitieshandled at Bangalore. Also coordinate with the Global tax team inproviding information for tax audits and tax assessments.
Process improvementprojects -Participate and Lead in process improvementprojects to improve existing process. Use principles of lean, sixsigma and built-in process in accounting and reporting processes.Takes active part in process automation and providing dash boardreporting using data analytics and othertools.
Requirements
Background/Experience:
CA/CPA/CMA with 3-4 years post qualification experience;
• Big 4experiencepreferred.
