Synder Accounting is a dynamic and growing accounting firm located in Boise, ID. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. We service clients in the ******** industry in states where ******** is legal. Responsibilities:
• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with precision and accuracy.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements under the guidance of senior accounting professionals.
• Prepare and maintain processes for handling 10++s and 571s, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Conduct sales tax preparation.
• Assist in audit preparation by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address and resolve accounting issues.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.
• Reconcile cash daily and proactively address and responds to potential issues.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as an Accountant.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Dext, Joform, and Zapier.
• Public accounting experience.
