The Opportunity
We’re seeking a part-time Staff Accountant who is ready to make a meaningful impact. In this contract role, you will support a variety of finance functions with a strong focus on data entry and reconciliation.
This hybrid position is based in Canada.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will:
Assist the finance team with data entry into Netsuite.
Assist with Salesforce reconciliation and finance related activities.
Assist with month end close activities.
Entry of employee expense reports and company credit card expenses.
Assist finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is driven, curious, and cares about doing great work. Ideally, you have:
1-3 years minimum experience in a finance or accounting role.
General understanding of basic accounting principles including accrual basis of accounting, dual entry accounting and the matching principle .
Working knowledge of Netsuite or a similar ERP system is considered an asset.
Salesforce experience/knowledge is considered an asset.
Attention to detail required.
Curiosity and a desire to learn.
Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
