Are you a meticulous Staff Accountant ready to handle a variety of accounting tasks to support our portfolio of properties? We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and collaborate with our accounting team to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.
Primary Responsibilities Of The Staff Accountant
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts, including intercompany accounts.
• Process accounts payable, expense reports, and statement reconciliations.
• Prepare, audit, and post the daily revenue reconciliation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Must Have Personal Qualifications For The Staff Accountant
• High ethical standards, including understanding the confidential nature of the role.
• Ability to solve problems using creative solutions.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.
• Prefer a bachelor’s degree with a major in business, finance, accounting (or relevant post-graduate education), but not required.
