TRC Talent is looking for a Staff Accountant for our client in Kennesaw
Job Summary: Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Details:
• Direct Hire
• $70k
• 8AM-5PM
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance and account reconciliation.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
