As a Cost Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our construction operations through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and meaningful collaboration. What You’ll Do
As a key member of our finance team, you will:
Project & Cost Accounting
Maintain and analyze job cost records for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
Prepare and review monthly job cost reports and variance analyses.
Month-End Close & Reporting
Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to improve processes.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of accounting experience (construction or manufacturing preferred).
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, JD Edwards).
Detail-oriented, analytical, and a proactive problem-solver.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
