Robert Half Finance & Accounting is searching for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant on behalf of our established commercial construction services partner in New Orleans!
This position will serve as crucial support in ensuring an efficient accounting and finance operation across the company.

Interested candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years in managing the full monthly accounting cycle, which includes general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, month-end close, payroll administration, and an applicable understanding of tax withholding and filing requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• General ledger management
• Account reconciliation
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Financial reporting
• GAAP compliance and annual audit preparation
• Payroll tax withholding calculations
• Monthly and quarterly parish, state, and federal tax filings
REQUIREMENTS
• 3 or more years of full cycle accounting experience (cradle to grave)
• Ability to prepare financial reports and statements with accuracy
• Demonstrated understanding of parish, state, and tax filing requirements
• Intermediate – Advanced level proficiency in Excel
