In this role you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the monthly closing procedures, you will meticulously review balance sheet accounts, offering invaluable support to management in resolving accounting matters and undertaking special projects as required
Execute monthly closing tasks, including journal entries and financial statement assessments
Conduct monthly reviews of general ledgers to ensure accuracy, analyzing performance against budget and prior years, and providing insightful recommendations
Collaborate with property managers to oversee financial operations at each location
Maintain ongoing review and approval of property-level invoices
Liaise with field management to comprehend lot operations and ongoing projects
Perform thorough balance sheet account analyses, encompassing current assets, current liabilities, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts
Utilize Infor software to enhance the closing process and develop comprehensive financial statements and reports
Aid management in refining closing procedures to meet deadlines efficiently, optimizing spreadsheet usage, and enhancing accounting data organization
Partner with IT to validate the efficacy of revenue controls
Assist in fine-tuning the internal audit program by occasionally visiting TPS facilities, ensuring adherence to established controls
Contribute to the annual budget process for all managed entities
Support external audit requests from municipalities, airports, or auditing firms
