Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Finance team, the Junior/Staff Accountant performs accounting functions for LaCantina Doors
This position will report to a Controller and will be responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
The Junior/Staff Accountant will meet respective deadlines and should possess solid communication, technology, organizational, and analytical skills
Prepare and enter journal entries such as accruals, depreciation, and reclasses
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables to complete daily/monthly tasks
Prepare documentation as needed for Internal and External Auditors
Prepare recurring balance sheet reconciliation and perform analysis on related accounts
Ensure internal policies and controls are complied with, including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems, and adherence to corporate policies (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.)
Complete and analyze ad hoc reports and projects

The Opportunity
As a valued member of the Finance team, the Junior/Staff Accountant performs accounting functions for LaCantina Doors. This position will report to a Controller and will be responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Junior/Staff Accountant will meet respective deadlines and should possess solid communication, technology, organizational, and analytical skills.
This is an in-office position in Oceanside, CA.
What You Will Do
• Prepare and enter journal entries such as accruals, depreciation, and reclasses.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables to complete daily/monthly tasks.
• Prepare documentation as needed for Internal and External Auditors.
• Prepare recurring balance sheet reconciliation and perform analysis on related accounts.
