A great client of mine is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team to assist the controller as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices, coding expenses, and issuing payments
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
• Assist with Controller for special projects as needed
• Perform cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and identify potential issues
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company
