What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be working with the Assistant Controller to maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers while performing general bookkeeping responsibilities.
Some of your day-to-day tasks:
• Perform material/inventory costing, ensuring that costs are accurate and current. This will include problem-solving, understanding what actions need to be taken to cost a part, and working with purchasing and engineering to cost new parts.
• Record various general ledger transactions and accounting for various aspects of the business.
• Assist with managing sales & use tax compliance.
• Perform various balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist in the month-end close process, including performing journal entries.
• Update and maintain policies and procedures documentation for GL accounts.
What do you need to be able to do?
• Entry-level accounting position with 0 -1 years related experience.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing is preferred.
• Familiar with ERP systems and their basic functionality is a plus.
• Good with numbers and details!
