Touchstone Communities- San Antonio, TX (CSO/Corporate Office) Staff Accountant Salary Range:
up to $75,000 DOE.
Schedule:
Hybrid however will be in office for initial training period.
Then normal schedule is WFH Monday and Friday and in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
2-4 years experience as a corporate accountant or related experience is required.
Experience with large ERP/Accounting software required.
Workday is preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
Helping Touchstone maintain accurate and correct financial records through the preparation, review and maintenance of financial information.
Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations and other various account reconciliations and posting of journal entries for assigned companies.
Will also involve working with team members in treasury and accounts payable to ensure accurate reporting and coordinating with team members at assigned communities to ensure completeness of financials.
Preparation/review of monthly bank account and other account reconciliations Preview of financial statements in preparation for monthly close Support maintenance of accurate fixed asset records for assigned companies.
Assist in managing the close process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information provided to management and external users.
Develop and own process improvements for related area of responsibility.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and assist in chart of accounts maintenance.
Respond to information requests from internal and external sources.
