Overview
BluJax Accounting LLC is an accounting firm in Wildwood, FL. A thorough knowledge of bookkeeping is needed for this position the ideal candidate will have worked with an accounting firm but also has people skills. This is time sensitive work that mandates deadlines are met in an accurate, timely and confidential manner. Individual must be self-managing, highly organized, attentive to details, flexible and great at working with people.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under managerial direction, this candidate will perform a variety of general accounting tasks including financial data entry, Set up QBO, COA, reconciliation of bank/CC, Clean up clients financial books, credit and investment accounts, sales tax returns, book quarterly/annual payroll tax returns, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements/reports.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform A/P, A/R, Payroll, Sales tax, Quarterly Payroll tax returns, job costing, Tax tie out, and ensure accuracy of financial data, etc
Completion of month end and year end close, in compliance with accounting standards
Conduct reviews of clients books to ensure financial integrity and adherence to company policies and procedures (GAAP)
Manage the general ledger accounting process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Provide client support via in person, email or by phone
Perform the full accounting cycle
Provide training to client if needed
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial acumen
Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
Ability to effectively communicate financial information to Clients
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, errors and make recommendations based on data
Ability to work with messy finanical books and clean them up to help client get back on track
Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks Online & Desktop) and Microsoft Suite (Excel) for data analysis
Ability to work independently and with a Team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
