Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document relevant information.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Assist in the coordination of patient care across various departments.
• Comply with infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, appropriate action.
• Educate patients regarding discharge instructions and follow-up care.
• Support and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for specific departments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Practical understanding of pharmacology and patient medication management.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in a specialized nursing field is a plus.
• Active participation in nursing professional organizations is encouraged.
