Job description, work day and responsibilities
**Walk In Detail**:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00AM To 04.00PM.
Experience required Minimum 1 Year with Nursing Registration.
• *JD**
• *DIRECT PATIENT’S CARE**:
Ø Admission and discharge of the patients.
Ø To maintain the personal hygiene of the patients, including bathing, care of mouth, back, nails, hair etc.
Ø Care of pressures points as needed.
Ø To assist the patient in elimination, offering and removing the bed pans and Urinals, Bed making.
Ø Assist in feeding the weak and debilitated patients.
Ø Writing of diet sheet, Supervision and distribution of diets.
Ø Assist in physiotherapy, ambulation and rehabilitation.
Ø Carry-out patient’s teaching and demonstration according to the need.
Ø Counseling the patients, and relatives.
Ø Care of the dying and dead.
Ø Administration of Medicines and Injections to the patients.
Ø Assist in administration of intravenous injections, infusion and Transfusion.
Ø Observing, recording and reporting of vital signs e.g. T.P.R. and Blood pressure.
Ø Collecting, labeling and dispatch of specimens.
Ø Preparation for and assistance in clinical tests and medical/surgical procedures.
Ø Urine testing for sugar, and albumin.
Ø Observation, recording and reporting of all procedures and tests.
Ø Escorting serious patients to and from the department/wards for investigations.
Ø Be groomed always
Ø Always greet with smile to patient and companion for their wellbeing
• *WARD MANAGEMENT**:
Ø Handing over and taking over charge of patients, and ward inventory in each shift.
Ø Maintenance of therapeutic environment in the ward.
Ø Keeping the ward clean and tidy.
Ø Routine care and cleaning of dressing trolleys, cupboards apparatus, mackintosh
etc. Care of clean and soiled linen.
Ø Disinfection of linen, beds, floor and bed pans, and fumigation of rooms etc.
Ø Preparation of room, trolleys, and sets for procedures.
Ø Preparation of surgical supplies.
Ø Maintaining interpersonal relationship with patients, relatives and health team members.
Ø Participation in staff education and staff meetings.
Ø Report about the medico-legal cases if any admitted in the ward. To keep the
senior nursing officials informed of the happenings / in the ward like fire,
absconding patients, theft etc.
Any other duty that may be assigned by sister in charge from time to time.
• *Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
