What you’ll be doing

Lead the establishment of a new medical locum placement service for NSW Health. This role will direct the development phase of the service with overall responsibility for recruitment, strategic direction, business development, agency operations, IT infrastructure, clinical governance, corporate governance and industrial policy frameworks, communications strategy and stakeholder engagement to ensure the new service is strategically and operationally positioned to launch successfully into the market and provide the best value to NSW Health stakeholders.

About you:

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
Demonstrated success in leading the end-to-end development and implementation of high-value projects with cross-sector impact.
Strong understanding of the NSW Health system, including industrial relations frameworks, medical workforce planning and clinical governance requirements.
Demonstrated experience leading complex, large-scale workforce or health system transformation projects within a public heath setting.
