LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client in downtown Louisville, Kentucky seeking a Staff Tax Accountant. This role will support tax compliance and annual external auditing procedures, reporting directly to the Director of Tax.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordination of annual financial statement audit
· Assist in preparing annual federal, state, local and franchise tax filings
· Assist with review of sales and use tax compliance
· Prepare monthly reconciliation of fixed assets, capital accounts, share of income
· Research ongoing tax compliance issues
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
· Licensed public accountant preferred
· 1-3 years of professional experience with tax focused work in a public accounting firm
· Exceptional skills in Excel, verbal and written communication and independent work ability
