Job Description
• Reconcile all corporate bank statements on a monthly basis
• Review, analyze, and reconcile all corporate credit card statements on a monthly basis
• Update and maintain month end balance sheet schedules and other financial data; including, but not limited to fixed assets, prepaid expenses, capitalized leases, intercompany balances, monthly accruals, long term debt
• Calculate monthly and annual sales commissions and bonuses earned by and payable to the sales team
• Update and maintain various vendor monthly and annual rebate and volume incentive programs
• Ensure the timely and accurate filing of monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
• Maintain accurate books and records for the company’s subsidiaries
• Assist with the preparation of GAAP financial statements
• Support the Accounts Receivable team to ensure that payments are received when due and are posted to customer accounts on a daily basis
• Support the Accounts Payable team to ensure that bills are entered in a timely manner, payments are made to vendors no later than the due date, and all discounts offered by vendors are taken
