Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant with a focus on Accounts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience (after completion of CA) in accounting, with a strong grasp of financial regulations and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Provide support to management as needed.
Qualifications
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience after completion of CA.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
