Role Overview
The State Manager – Florida is responsible for full P amp;L ownership and overall performance of Near North Title Group’s Florida operations, overseeing 8 title agency branches spanning South Florida through Central Florida and the West Coast. This role leads all branch operations and associates and is accountable for driving profitable growth year over year. Serving as the senior leader for the Florida market, the State Manager brings deep experience across escrow and title operations, sales leadership, and the management of high-performing, multi-location teams.

The State Manager will leverage extensive industry experience and relationships, along with Near North Title Group’s evolving technology platform, to strengthen market position, operational consistency, and financial performance across the state. This role partners closely with corporate leadership while maintaining hands-on ownership of day-to-day operations, talent strategy, and branch-level results. The ideal candidate is a practical, execution-focused leader who can take ownership of an existing operation, improve performance, and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee 8 title agency branches across Florida, serving as the primary point of accountability for operational, financial, and service performance.
• Own full P amp;L responsibility for the Florida market, including revenue growth, expense management, and profitability.
• Provide leadership across escrow, title operations, and sales functions.
• Ensure consistent service delivery, operational standards, and financial discipline across all Florida offices while allowing flexibility for local market needs.
• Direct and ensure staff follow corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight of risk management, compliance, and audit readiness across Florida operations.
• Develop, coach, and mentor branch leaders and teams to build a strong leadership bench and support long-term growth.
• Develop, coordinate, and oversee execution of the Florida operating plan and longer-term strategic goals.
• Partner with Executive Management on initiatives supporting business growth, process improvement, and platform expansion.
• Serve as a visible leader in the Florida market, supporting key client relationships and representing Near North Title Group with referral partners and industry stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, scale operations, and strengthen Near North’s market presence statewide.

Qualifications
• Significant industry experience within title insurance, real estate, or related financial services.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing multi-location operations or regional teams.
• Strong understanding of title and escrow operations and branch-level financial performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Experience managing business performance, budgets, and operational metrics.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
