Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Basic technical knowledge of current protocols, operating system, and standards.
Provide Tier I Level support in an onsite and nationwide multi-site location environment.
Conducts investigations to resolve information system issues.
Conducts research to understand, explain and resolve technology issues.
Communicates updates to users that have been or may be affected by a problem.
Follows up with users after problems have been resolved.
Utilizes help desk tracking software to present recommendations and improvements for user systems.
Applies technical knowledge to assist internal employees with computer problems.
Carries out onboarding procedures for new users into the system.
Ensures response times are quick and effective to appropriately resolve requests.
Supports referrals to technical, professional, or service personnel depending on the repair, training, service, or software issue.
Diagnoses computer errors and troubleshoot computer software, hardware, and networking issues.
Provide technical support to remedy computer problems.
Supports computer set-up and new technologies.
Installs and configures software and operating systems, updates these systems when necessary.
Cleans and repairs computer hardware.
Supports building technology including VolP phones and AV (Audio Visual/Display Screens).
Practices excellent time management. Responds to technical support calls or tickets and follows up appropriately.
Performs PC and computer setup, maintenance, and installation of software for users.
Works with remote locations to ensure all updates are working successfully.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to Level II support.
Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor

Education & Experience:
Beginning to working experience and/or knowledge within the field; preferred.
Typically requires an associate’s degree in related field or equivalent; preferred.
0 to 2 years of experience.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop operating Systems and Mac OS X
Experience with productivity software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Experience with scripting and automation tools.
Experience with Active Directory and group policies.
Experience with various technologies (Azure, Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Hyper-V, VMware, networking, etc.)
Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Extensive equipment support experience.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.
Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities-not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Ability to get in and out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs during your shift.
Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
