IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Strategic Planning & Development

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate strategic events throughout the year, including Planning Blocks, Board Reviews, Growth Conferences, Profit Reviews, leadership staff meetings and other leadership meetings.

• Partner with Emerson and Final Control planning teams to align business outlooks and planning processes in terms of updates, exhibits and xBU initiatives and presentations.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop compelling content, messaging, and presentations for internal and external business communications.

• Identify, research, and evaluate opportunities to expand into new markets, industries, and product segments.

• Support acquisition and divestiture activities by conducting market, technology, and financial due diligence, and preparing investment-grade evaluations.

• Lead or facilitate offsite meetings and strategy sessions that define annual priorities, goals, and business objectives.

• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving and document key actions, priorities, and outcomes.

• Provide analytical and strategic support for business and corporate planning exhibits.

• Travel as needed in support of leadership and key planning initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE:

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years of proven experience.

• Proven track record in business design and development in dynamic corporate environment

• Ability to think critically and creatively and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization

• Ability to take new insights in both business and analysis from conception to implementation

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

• Ability to travel domestically and globally approximately 10% of the time

• Legal authorization to work in the United States-sponsorship will not be provided.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Master's degree in Business Management (MBA)

• Experience working in a matrix organization

• Prior experience in the Valves Industry

• Proven ability to research markets, analyze competitors, and make data-driven recommendations
