Kings Institutes of Vocational Studies, covering a diverse range of specialist courses – from Certificate level to Graduate Diploma.

Due to the recent growth, we are expanding our International Student Cohort. We are seeking a motivated, experienced, professional, and high achieving individual to join our energetic and enthusiastic Student support team at Granville Office.

· ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES – Student Support and Account Assistant

. Coordinate and manage students’ records and files.

. Monitor and follow-up where necessary for new and continuing students to ensure adherence to offer letters, study plans, attendance, breaks, award/course exits/withdrawals, transcripts, general student wellbeing, payment concern sand other non-academic issues.

. When required, report student issues to appropriate departments for further action.
. Follow up with students for overdue fees.

· Preparing report of all fees and Agents commission on weekly basis.

· Entered Students payment in Xero and Axcelerate.

· Maintaining Xero Accounting systems.

· Preparing or reviewing account reconciliations and analysing, monitoring budget to actual variances.

· Preparing financial reports, business activity statement, financial statements and carrying out periodic reconciliation and year-end profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost accounting & BAS reports.

· Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.

· Monitoring operating costs and organization’s income and expenditure.
Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations.

· Managing the accounts payables and receivables functions to ensure the prompt and accurate payment of invoices to outside vendors and reimbursements to faculty and staff and invoices to debtors.

Essential

A minimum of 1-year student services experience either within an education provider or relevant field
Proficient in reading and writing
Experience working with international students
Knowledge of Department of Home Affairs (DHA) regulations (in relation to visas) and ESOS regulations relating to the higher education sector/providers
