Preferred background of having led Art&Design teams with atleast 7+ yrs of experince. Preference if from China with strong proven expertise in mobile casual gaming and understanding of local markets

Role Summary:
The Studio Manager will head oversee the daily operations of the game studio, ensuring effective coordination between departments including game design, development, art, QA, product, and marketing. You will be the backbone of studio operations—optimizing resources, maintaining timelines, managing budgets, and fostering a productive, creative, and fun work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Studio Operations & Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the game studio.
• Serve as the communication bridge between leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Create and implement studio-wide policies, processes, and workflows.
• Project & Production Management
• Work closely with producers and team leads to define and track project roadmaps, deliverables, and milestones.
• Monitor team velocity, game development timelines, and resource allocation to ensure deadlines are met.
• Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies.
• Team Management & Culture
• Support hiring, onboarding, and team performance evaluation.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work culture that aligns with the company’s values.
• Facilitate internal communications, meetings, and team-building initiatives.
• Finance & Budget Oversight
• Work with finance to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and spending for studio operations.
• Track operational costs and help identify efficiencies in studio workflows.
• External Coordination
• Manage relationships with outsourcing partners, freelancers, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure third-party work is aligned with internal expectations and delivered on time.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in game production, operations, or studio management roles.
• Prior experience in mobile or casual gaming is highly preferred.
• Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
Nice to Have:
• Understanding of casual mobile game market trends and KPIs.
• Familiarity with Unity-based development pipelines.
• Exposure to live ops and data-driven product management.
• Experience scaling teams from early-stage to growth-stage.
