Essential
Enrolled in post-secondary education in business / office administration, computer studies, customer service or a related discipline.
Experience delivering a wide range of information and services to diverse customers.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a strong commitment to provide excellent customer service.
Excellent problem solving and complaint resolution skills with the ability to maintain composure when dealing with customer demands.
Adaptable to change, ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and learn new systems quickly.
Excels at both team-based and independent work.
Strong multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office software, customer relationship management solutions and multimedia (telephone, e-mail, social media and TTY).

Working Conditions
Flexibility in work hours and schedules, including evening, weekends and holidays is required.
The successful candidate must also be able to sit in a fixed position for approximately 90% of each work shift while working in the contact centre and be able to work at a reception / service desk as required.

The successful candidate will be made an offer of employment on condition that the Regional Municipality of Halton receives a current (obtained within the past six (6) months), original and acceptable Criminal Records Check by the first day of employment.
