HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. We are currently looking for a candidate in Christchurch North to work on Monday – Friday and someone who can do both AM and PM shifts.
AM shift -8:00am – 12:00pm
PM Shift -5:00pm – 9:00pm
This role covers Avondale, Burwood, Marshland, New Brighton, North Brighton, Parklands, Wainoni, South New Brighton in Christchurch.
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
Meal preparation
Community outings and integration
Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
Medication administration
Hoist and Manual handling
2 person assists is a must
Home management
