Job Description
Required Technical Skill Set•Administrative tasks and maintenance plans for the entire System Center Operations Manager infrastructure.
•Provide application support for the SCOM platform.
•Create and maintain monitoring and notification rules.
•Create and maintain Windows and Linux agent deployment
•Review and update SCOM console security, apply patches, create SCOM console roles and reviews.
•Audit and scope customer access to SCOM alerts and data.
•Install custom Management Packs (MP).
•Create custom reports on results of SCOM monitoring, using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) technology.
• Software update management via SCCM. Understanding of patching process, software update group creation, Creation of deployment packages
• Knowledge on generic SCCM administrative activities like creation of collections, Distribution and Deployment of packages and applications
• Understanding of SCCM Site hierarchy and site system roles such as MP, DP, SUP and other system roles.
• Understanding of SCCM boundary and boundary groups.
• Ability of reading SCCM logs and decipher meanings of log errors and correlate the log names with SCCM components.
• Understanding of SCCM client settings and client setting parameters.
• Ability to do SCCM client installation manual, push method and fare bit of understanding of other client installation methods. Knowledge of SCCM client troubleshooting.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1.Performing patching activities in QA, Staging and production servers.
2.Troubleshooting of SCCM issues at SCCM servers
3.Responsible to meet +5% patching compliance and providing SCCM compliance report to to stakeholders
4.Training and guiding junior team members.

6.Coordinating with different stakeholders
