Talent Acquisition Specialist (12m Contract)

Job Description

This role will support BNP Paribas and the Talent Acquisition Partner in delivering a high volume of recruitment, as well as optimizing recruitment, onboarding and candidate care processes.

Primary Role Responsibilities
Facilitate candidate screening, interview coordination and selection (including HR‑interview) to ensure a seamless, competency‑based hiring experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment cycle, delivering timely updates, feedback and a positive employer brand impression.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with the offshore service‑provider handling recruitment‑administration tasks, ensuring service‑level agreements are met.
Work collaboratively with the Human‑Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Team and hiring managers to define role requisitions, interview panels and hiring criteria.
Own the day‑to‑day administration of the applicant‑tracking system (Avature), ensuring accurate data entry, pipeline visibility and compliance with reporting standards.
Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment workflow; propose and pilot automation, SOP enhancements or technology upgrades to reduce time‑to‑fill and improve quality‑of‑hire.
Participate in cross‑functional TA initiatives such as employer‑branding campaigns, talent‑community building, campus‑recruitment programs and diversity‑inclusion hiring drives.
Contribute to the design and rollout of process‑improvement projects (e.g., interview‑panel training, ATS workflow redesign, recruitment automation pilots).

What is required for you to succeed?
2+ years of working in a high volume HR/Recruitment environment
Proven ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven and rapidly changing environment
An understanding of recruitment and the practicalities of doing this in volume
Excellent attention to detail
An ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities at once
Experience of Application Tracking Systems (Desirable)
